Product overview
Shop-floor visual inspection often leaves escapes and weak result tracking. After casing, workpiece placement and clearance are also challenges.
i22X combines three desktop robot sizes with four lighting types. No teaching pendant—operate from inspection software. Standard Z-axis focuses on post-assembly 3D parts.
i22XDA-300 adds dual-angle cameras and a turn stage that rotates the workpiece.
Inspection examples — DL lighting
Screw presence, tray missing, laser-printed text, dents, chips, scratches, and more. Scratch views can be compared under white and coaxial epi lighting.

RGB three-tier lighting color-codes fillets. Suited to DIP solder, bridges, PIN presence, and red-eye checks.

Desktop
Desktop that fits high-mix, low-volume cells
Shared software with higher-end models—reuse inspection templates as-is. No fixture included; optional base-plate and board-rail fixtures available.
Suited to post-casing cosmetics and unit inspection with boards installed. Also DIP insert checks for tall parts and solder-side checks on small production boards.
i22XDA-300 enables oblique views with dual-angle cameras and multi-angle inspection on a 360° turntable.

i22X-300L / 400L / 500L
Same inspection performance in a Cartesian-robot package. Robot, control PC, and inspection software included. Stroke: 300 / 400 / 500 mm.
Place on an existing conveyor for in-line use. USER I/O can start inspection and output OK/NG.
Z-axis standard
Focus on 3D assemblies
Change focus with the Z-axis to capture optimal images of post-assembly 3D parts.
Travel: i22X-200 50 mm; i22X-300 100 mm; i22X-500 150 mm; i22XDA-300 50 mm.
USER I/O interface
15-pin D-sub with 7 outputs and 4 inputs. Start inspection and output OK/NG. Switch BOX cannot be used when USER I/O is active.
Lighting matched to the inspection task
DL lighting for component inspection; side red for character and solder checks.
ML lighting color-codes fillets with RGB three tiers for solder inspection. W lighting for simple part/character/color checks; UV for fluorescent conformal-coat inspection.
No teaching pendant
Move X, Y, and Z with clicks and mouse drag. For 3D parts, change focus to capture the best image.
Fixtures
Customer fixtures mount on the Y fixture table. No fixture is included—prepare one matched to the workpiece.

Dual-angle cameras and rotary table
In addition to top-down inspection, dual-angle cameras and a rotary table enable multi-angle checks.
Safety cover with area sensor
Option
Acrylic enclosure with an area sensor at the workpiece opening helps prevent collisions during operation. Image is illustrative and may differ from the actual unit.

Compact desktop footprint suits off-line and cell production. Place beside soldering or screw-driving stations.
Options
CatchSystem stores results in a database for utilization tracking and traceability. Offline teaching builds data without stopping the machine. Both require a separate PC.
